* Key feature may different from Key Spec. Overall I really enjoy using the Tab S6 Lite. Battery life is solid and the charging speed is also decent when you use a fast charger.
Otherwise for normal use, the tab runs perfectly fine.Ĭameras are pretty much in line with the lower end of the A series so they still usable. Hopefully the updates will improve things. Yes the tab s6 lite is not built for gaming however I've seen cheaper phones and tablets that perform better. Out of the lack of dex mode (which I barely use) and the lack of finger print sensor, the biggest improvement that i think Samsung should focus on is the performance. Just unfortunate that Samsung didn't include spare nibs out of the box nor a fast charger. The palm rejection is also very good just like writing on paper. I can plan, take notes and do simple sketches with no problem while having it all saved into the notes app.
(Don't underestimate the dual speakers though, they sound surprisingly full bodied and certainly packs a punch!)įor college students, the S pen will definitely come in handy. The S6 lite on the other hand is a balance between having an s pen and sacrificing for a slightly worse display and sound. If you only plan to use it for media consumption then the S5e will be a better option as that focuses on a better display and has 2 more speakers to fully immerse you with. I do think some reviewers exaggerated a little too much. However looking at it for the first time, the display is actually great and should be good enough for most people. Honestly, I did not expect much from the TFT display since its technically a downgrade compared to last gen. Almost perfect apart from the awkward button placement. They did not sacrifice any of the build quality compared to their top tier Tab S6 which is nice. Great for notetaking! Starting off with the design, I only have two words to word to describe it.
